A masterpiece of film noir cinema from director Billy Wilder (who also co-scripted with Raymond Chandler) follows an insurance salesman (Fred MacMurray) as he’s lured into a diabolical murder plot by an ice-cold femme fatale (Barbara Stanwyck).
